Vietnam Airlines re-exploits Pleiku Airport

According to Vietnam Air Lines, it officially re-operates flights to/ from Pleiku (Gia Lai) after this airport was reopened. The project "Upgrading and extending runways, taxiways and airport apron of Pleiku Airport" was started on 28th September 2014 with a total investment of 945 billion, the goal of increasing mining capacity up to 1 million passengers per year. Under the plan, from March 15th to October 25th, the terminal and runways was upgraded, so Pleiku Airport was temporarily closed.
